This project focuses on the design of a packaging and order-processing workstation for SOLID IDEA. The objective was to create a functional and efficient workspace that responds to the dynamic nature of the company’s daily operations while fitting seamlessly within its industrial identity.
A key aspect of the design is its mobility. Because the workspace is highly flexible and continuously adapts to changing needs, the table is equipped with wheels, allowing it to be repositioned quickly and effortlessly. This enables the workstation to support different workflows, layouts, and team requirements without becoming a fixed obstacle within the space.
Sustainability is addressed through the table’s modular construction. The aluminium frame is built from standardized profiles and connectors, making individual components easy to replace if they become damaged or worn over time. Rather than replacing the entire product, specific parts can be repaired or exchanged, extending the lifespan of the workstation and reducing material waste.
From an aesthetic perspective, the design combines raw industrial materials such as aluminium profiles, sheet metal, and 3D-printed components into a cohesive and refined whole. The result is a product that celebrates the honesty of its materials while maintaining a clean and unified visual language that reflects the character of SOLID IDEA.
